Dave was born and raised in central VT and now lives with his family in Addison County, homeland of his wife, Chelsey. There they are parishioners at St. Mary’s Church in Middlebury and run a very busy home school for their children. Between helping out with parish activities and following the many interests of his kids, Dave enjoys reading, hunting, fishing, sports, and working around the house.

In 2003, he graduated from Wheaton College (MA) with a degree in Biology and then went on to pursue his masters degree in Forestry at UVM. After working in the forestry industry for 10 years he started a career in the field of building science. He worked his way up to being a building efficiency auditor and was charged with diagnosing issues clients had with their homes then providing solutions. He became a Knight of Columbus in 2008 and became interested in Fr McGivney’s mission, so much so that he started training as an agent in 2013.

Over the last 13 years, he has served members and their families from every VT council in his role with the Knights. He has won numerous contests for his performance, recruited over 100 new members, achieved membership on the Million Dollar Round Table for the last 5 years, and qualified for KofC incentive trips. He loves his career with the Knights and feels blessed to be able to help Vermonters who share his values.
